how tiring can it be

How tiring can "doing nothing" be? Anybody has any online or offline jobs available to keep my mind busy? It's been a very long time since I had a job, basically I can't do jobs that needs contract because I don't think I have all the time I could give (since I'll be leaving abroad - hopefully). So anyone with suggestions would be very appreciated.

never thought crochet would look this cute

I was used to making bags, totes and table cloth using crochet that I never thought I could make one as a bracelet. I was browsing through futuregirl.com's blog when I came across here tutorial about crochet beaded bracelet. I was inspired on making one, apparently my thread can't promise me the same results as intended so I ended making my own modifications - and a lot more.

The one above, I made for a friend. I used her beads that was a scrunchies in the past, she wanted it bigger in width so as mentioned - a lot of modifications was done.

This one (below) I made for myself, I made it as my watch strap, isn't it cute?! I really loved it but it was hard to make! dang! my fingers were sore after I made it. It was all worth it though, I received a lot of awe, admiration and a few constant - can you make me one? - comments.

As of the moment, I'm in the process of making my bag and I have a few projects in line. I'll post the pictures of the proposed projects in my next blog. Till then :)

Starting Out!

It's been a while since I wanted to write or start a blog, apparently I never had the time to do any writing and I think I'm out of practice as well. So this is my first attempt - hoping all goes well! As of the moment, I'm all tied up in crocheting, I am currently making a bag (large enough to hold all my things). I was inspired by another blogger futuregirl.com who does a lot of crochet and I mean a lot of wonderful things. I just love reading her blog :) I hope she gets the time to read some of mine soon. I'm still finding my way around my blog and I'll post some updates and pictures of the things I made out of crochet. See you soon :)
